SBCAST Proposal Application
If you would like to submit an idea for an exhibition, a socially engaged project, presentation, performance or another type of event for consideration, please follow the suggested application guidelines:
- Please email your name, address, email, phone number, resume, one writing sample (300 words), and other images or texts that are particularly relevant for the subject of your proposal.
- Include in your email a statement illustrating your interests and explaining the reason for the proposal. In this section please describe what are you proposing: an exhibition/social engagement or event/presentation/performance/other). Please describe the motivation for your proposal in detail, including relevant research, historical foundations, political urgency and the artistic/scientific/technological relationships you hope to build as a result. Please address how your proposal relates to the mission and goals of SBCAST, what communities and audiences you would like your event to attract, and your strategy to engage these communities. (300 words)
- Please include the following: 1-3 promotional images and/or video (400 x 400 pixels of artwork, digital flyer, other sample imagery) that can be used on SBCAST social media and website; Artist simplified bio (100 words max).
